Does a maximum depth of 8 mm mean the needles go that deep?
Needle insertion depth and heat penetration depth are different. In extended mode, a 4 mm needle insertion can deliver heat as deep as 8 mm. This is a maximum, not a fixed depth used everywhere. Your doctor assesses skin thickness and the area before choosing needle depth and whether to use extended mode.
Does EXION hurt?
Treatment is performed after numbing cream or sedation. In the manufacturer's research, 82% of patients reported feeling comfortable during treatment.
How long does treatment take?
