How do you choose the right skin tightening system?
It depends on where support has been lost. Radiofrequency addresses skin firmness, ultrasound can reach the deeper SMAS layer, microwaves target the fat layer, and muscle stimulation acts on facial muscles. Your doctor examines your face and often recommends one approach or a combination of two.
Can I have more than one treatment on the same day?
Sometimes, if the treatments target different layers. One example is ONDA for the fat layer combined with Titanium Lift for the skin. Your doctor will decide which treatments to combine and in what order during your consultation.
Are there skin tightening treatments that do not need anesthesia?
EMFACE and Eve Titan are performed without anesthesia, and Titanium Lift is usually comfortable enough without it as well. Ultherapy PRIME, Thermage FLX and ONDA are performed after a topical anesthetic is applied.
When will I see results?
Timing depends on the treatment. Many people notice a change immediately after ONDA. With EMFACE, a course of four sessions spaced one to two weeks apart usually produces the strongest results around three months, with effects lasting six months or longer.
What types of nonsurgical tightening are available?
Treatments are grouped by their energy source. Ultrasound options include Ultherapy PRIME, Sofwave and ULTLINE; radiofrequency options include Thermage, XERF and EXION. ONDA uses microwaves, EMFACE and Eve Titan stimulate muscles, and Titanium Lift uses lasers. We offer all of these and choose according to the layers that need treatment.
What is the difference between Ultherapy and Thermage?
Ultherapy focuses ultrasound energy at points down to the SMAS layer to address deeper sagging. Thermage uses radiofrequency to heat a broader area of the dermis evenly, improving firmness and fine lines. When both sagging and skin laxity are concerns, your doctor may recommend combining the two.
What should I look for in a skin tightening clinic?
Look for a clinic that can choose from several systems to suit your face. Ask whether genuine treatment tips are used and whether a doctor personally provides both the consultation and the treatment.
