ONDA uses Coolwaves® microwave technology from DEKA in Italy. Microwaves make water molecules in tissue vibrate, producing heat that reaches the dermis, fat, retaining ligaments and fascial layers without damaging the epidermis.
Integrated cooling continuously protects the epidermis. This lets enough heat reach the deeper layers with relatively little discomfort, and you can return to daily life immediately.
Softens fine lines and firms skin. Microwaves from the shallow handpiece heat the dermis close to the surface to stimulate collagen renewal.
Tightens loose skin beneath the chin. Continuous surface cooling allows heat to act on the dermis and fat layer, contracting collagen in the area.

How do microwaves lift the face? Treatment works in four stages, from energy delivery to collagen renewal.

Cooling the skin's surface to 5°C reduces discomfort and the risk of burns.
The dermis and fat layer are heated to around 55°C to trigger a firming response.

Effects are visible immediately, with firmness and contour changes first. As fat decreases and new collagen develops, the cheeks, lower face and under-chin area gradually become more defined.
