A plaque marking 1,000 EMFACE treatments

BTL Asia head Alex Peng and BTL Korea executive Lee Chung-eun visited the clinic to present a plaque marking 1,000 EMFACE treatments.

On May 23, 2025, Dong-An Joongsim Clinic received a plaque from BTL Asia celebrating its 1,000th EMFACE treatment. BTL develops and supplies systems including EMFACE, EMSCULPT NEO and EMSELLA around the world.

Dong-An Joongsim Clinic offers EMFACE in the Apgujeong and Cheongdam area, with treatment planned around each patient's needs. BTL Asia head Alex Peng and BTL Korea executive Lee Chung-eun presented the plaque in person and discussed Korean EMFACE trends and future applications with Dr. Chang-Hwan Cho, Dr. Soyoun Koo and Dr. Ha. EMFACE combines radiofrequency with high-intensity facial electrical stimulation (HIFES) to stimulate collagen and elastin while working on facial muscle tone.

Dr. Cho said the clinic plans each treatment around the patient's face shape and muscle anatomy, aiming for natural-looking lifting and continued improvements in precision and safety. Dr. Koo discussed the role of EMFACE in skin firmness, eye-area lifting, mouth-corner position, forehead muscle strength and overall facial balance. She noted patient satisfaction and the short recovery time as reasons it may suit people with busy schedules.
