Attending the Merz MASJ Symposium

The symposium explored professionalism and ethics in medical aesthetics, emphasizing sound standards and depth of practice.

Merz Aesthetics Korea held its sixth MERZ AESTHETICS SERENDIPITY JOURNEY (MASJ) symposium at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas on February 21. Dr. Chang-Hwan Cho and Dr. Soyoun Koo attended to discuss current research and ethical standards in medical aesthetics. The event focused on the professionalism, ethics and patient-centered values needed to make aesthetic treatments meaningful for patients.

Discussions covered better medical education, ethical standards in practice, the effects of treatment on self-esteem and quality of life, and the importance of transparent communication. The theme called for prioritizing standards over technology and depth over speed. Dong-An Joongsim Clinic will continue grounding its approach to aesthetic care in professional responsibility and clear standards.
