EXOSMART Seminar: Dr. Chang-Hwan Cho on Autologous Blood-Based Regenerative Treatments

Dr. Cho explained EXOSMART’s centrifugation and hollow-fiber ultrafiltration process, and discussed clinical applications according to skin condition.
Dong-An Joongsim Clinic hosted an EXOSMART seminar on August 28, 2026, with Dr. Chang-Hwan Cho as speaker. The program explored autologous blood-based treatments, EXOSMART’s operating principles and clinical applications in aesthetic and regenerative medicine. Dr. Cho discussed blood processing and concentration, platelets and other bioactive components involved in cell signaling, and considerations for their clinical use.
The lecture described how EXOSMART separates plasma from red blood cells by centrifugation, then uses a hollow-fiber filter for ultrafiltration to produce a platelet concentrate. Dr. Cho compared the process with other autologous blood-based treatments and discussed applications according to skin condition and treatment goals. He emphasized the importance of understanding skin aging and tissue regeneration when tailoring a plan to each patient. The seminar gave attendees an opportunity to review current experience and discuss treatment safety and effectiveness.
